1920s Brass Brown & Barlow vintage motorcycle carburettor c/w float bowl, float and float needle. This may be for veteran motorcycles, but my best guess is that it’s for vintage motorcycles.
This is a relatively small brass Brown & Barlow carburettor, with a tall float bowl. The mixing chamber is fed from the bottom. The float bowl has the float needle and float. As you can see in the images, there is no slide or carb internals. The float bowl and main body are in good condition and free from cracks.
I’ve had a look at the only catalogue that I have for B & B. It’s dated 1924. The single lever and two stroke carb bodies are similar but not the same as this one, where the main jet sits.
