1926 Douglas EW CW Flat tank motorcycle engine crank cases.
This is one for the Douglas experts out there. The engine number is YE 9776. When I looked the number up, “YE” relates to the EW 350 SV models from 1926, 1927 and 1928. I was told it was for a “CW”. But i can’t find any record of that model in the record tables.
1926 EW motorcycles (and their derivatives) had a number range that is closest to this engine number.
Please have a good look at the images for condition. They aren’t perfect but they are free of any major damage.
