This Bronze mid-late 1920’s Touring Model AMAC vintage carburettor is very hard to find. It’s the T.15MDX version. I think this one is from 1928.
This will likely suit a variety of vintage motorcycles including Marston Sunbeams, Nortons, Matchless and BSA, but especially the Douglas SW / DT models as it is one of a pair.
Even though it’s the MDX version, it can be used as the MDY model. I think the only difference is that the feed for the T.15MDX is on top of the float bowl and MDY is a bottom feed.
- Bore: 15/16″
- Inside diameter of spigot mount: 1/16″
I have a few AMAC carb’s for sale. Get in touch if this isn’t the model that you need, or have a look through the other items.
It will be missing parts, so please check the images carefully. I’ve done my best to demonstrate what is included. It has marks externally.
The inside of the mount spigot will need a tiny bit of adjustment as there is a little lump. It just needs carefully filing down to seat well.
