1930’s Sunbeam Model 9 oil tank – Oily inside & solid.
With a little help from a couple of members of the Sunbeam page, I am able to confirm that this Sunbeam Model 9 oil tank looks like ones that were supplied for the M9 between 1932 and 1934. Whether it suits other Sunbeam Models, or other years, I don’t know.
If you need dimensions to clarify anything, please let me know.
Condition of the 1930’s Sunbeam Model 9 oil tank
It’s used, oily on the inside and without any nasty dings or dents.
It comes with the 4 bolts as show but no clamps for the frame. The return pipe is inside and the two oil line fixings are on the base as shown.
There is very slight surface rust. It could do with a rub down and some paint. Although the lower seam looks like it’s rusty, I can say that it is solid.
