1939 Ariel VB 600 Side valve engine for rebuild.

This motor turns over. As you can see, it doesn’t have the timing covers. It’s dirty but basically sound. The parts didn’t really change between 1931 and 1959, so getting parts to rebuild this engine won’t be too difficult.

If you’re looking for a nice prewar VB600 engine to fit into your frame, then this one is worth coming to look at. If you can’t make it, then please get a friend to come. Failing that, I’m happy to provide pictures of specific areas on the engine if you ask.
