NOW SOLD
1946 Triumph 3t 350cc Twin engine cases with crank / flywheel, camshafts and connecting rods.
I’m selling as I now have a complete spare engine for my 3T Deluxe.
This is a decent set of engine cases for an early Triumph 3T Deluxe. Apart from marks over the years, they don’t show up any issues. Clearly, you only get what you see in the timing chest. The connecting rods make the crank move freely when pushed. The camshafts are still fitted (although I haven’t had them out to check them over).
The whole set up will need taking apart and will need a good clean inside. For example, the oil line will need cleaning out. It’s blocked near the base. The sump fixing holes will likely need attention. By that I mean one looks a bit oval and the others will need cleaning out and probably tapping.
However, these cases are not damaged. The engine number is clear and unmolested. The number is 3T 2246 N. In my table, that places these cases in the first year of production.
