1947 4G 1000cc Ariel Square Four motorcycle part-engine for rebuild
This is a much more complete SQ4 engine than the other one that I have listed. It has a very nice iron cylinder head. The barrels are decent and have the pushrods. As you can see it’s all a bit grubby and much of the items in the timing chest are not there. However, it comes with the rocker box, rocker box cover, exhaust manifolds, rockers and spindles and much more.
If you would like to know the engine number, it begins with DK and has three digits. The number is clear and unmolested.
Unused for many years. It needs a complete rebuild and some parts are missing (mainly the timing chest parts)

Viewing: Please come and check it over before you buy. The engine is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
Delivery? I might be able to deliver subject to a contribution for my costs. Alternatively, you can arrange your own courier. I will only release the bike once I have had payment and I will need the payment before the courier arrives. (not on the same day)
Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well.
Collection: I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
