1950’s Norton ES2 swing arm appears to be New-old-stock.
That’s the closest I can get to identifying this swing arm. Some time back I had a 1954 Norton ES2 frame that had an identical swing arm fitted. So, that’s where my Norton skills end.
It’s dirty. But, it’s difficult to find. So difficult that I happen to have two. The other one will also be for sale. They have been propped up against a wall in my barn for too long.
It looks to me like it is old stock. The grey paint is marked here and there but the forks don’t look like they have been used. Unlike the other one that I have for sale, this one is not fitted with the swinging arm spindle.
I can’t quite make the numbers out on the forks. They appear to read 19257 / 19253.
