1950’s Norton ES2 swing arm with brake anchor and spindle fitted.
That’s the closest I can get to identifying this swing arm. Some time back I had a 1954 Norton ES2 frame that had an identical swing arm fitted. So, that’s where my Norton skills end.
There is a spindle fitted. No attempt has been made to remove it and inspect condition.
I can’t quite make the numbers out on the forks. The other (identical) swing arm is a bit clearer and one of them reads 19257.
Condition of the Norton ES2 swing arm
It’s used but complete with the swing arm spindle (no idea about condition of the spindle) and has the brake anchor arm. It’s dirty and needs a re-paint.
But these original parts are difficult to find. So difficult that I happen to have two more!. The other one will also be for sale. They have been propped up against a wall in my barn for too long.
Please take a close took at the tabs / anchors to decide if this is the correct Norton ES2 swing arm for your needs.
Other Norton parts
I have quite a lot left over from various projects of my own. I don’t have much in the way of early parts though. There are some Dominator 88 / 99 twin parts, some Model 50 and ES2 parts and a few prewar parts. Please take a look at the Norton spare parts for sale.
