This Triumph Tiger Cub T20 project comes with a V5 Registration document, in my name. The engine and frame numbers are correct on the document.
The project is just how I bought it. Most of it is there. I will list what is included below. Everything will need to be restored. It’s a great little project, without the extra paperwork and hoops to jump through in order to get the registration document.
The engine is still in one piece. There is one very minor part missing. That is one of the rocker caps / covers. Other than that, it looks to be complete and just how it would have come out of the frame. The primary case looks like it has had a repair at some point. If you come to collect the bike, I will let you choose another cover from my shelf of cub parts.
The frame is nice and straight but it will need sand blasting and re-coating. I have exposed the frame number. It corresponds to the V5 registration document. There are some good parts on the frame, including a very expensive original centre stand. It escapes me as to why these are so much money, but it has one anyway. The rear loop and swing arm are fitted, together with the original side stand.
This little Tiger Cub is one of a few projects that I have decided to move on. I’ve been hoarding T20 projects and parts for years and have now decided it’s time to let some go so that I can fund the completion of the ones that I want to keep.
If you miss out on this one, or prefer a different Cub, let me know. I have 4 T20 projects to sell. They vary in condition from dismantled (and recently powder coated) through to a completely dismantled cub with a V5.
Parts included:
- Frame (1959), side stand. centre stand, swing arm, rear frame loop.
- Engine (1960) with distributor, gearbox, outer covers, clutch, main casing and internals with barrel and cylinder head.

- Rear wheel with chain wheel and brake plate

I have no doubt that you could get a Cub project elsewhere for less, but they usually exclude some of the more expensive parts. This Cub came from someone who had owned /used it for many decades. It’s almost complete and makes rebuilding so much easier.
