1967 / 68 Triumph T100 500cc Very Nice cylinder head Cast # E3991
I have had this immaculate unit Triumph unit T100 cylinder head stashed away for a few years as a spare. It’s very rare to see one like this, without chipped fins, damage to threads or the combustion chambers.
The later Hemi heads have a single hole for both pushrods & the pushrod tube to sit in. This one is the earlier type. These pre-Daytona spec heads have a ‘squish band’ on the edge of the combustion chamber. The valve size, inlet port size, valve angle & piston shape are all different to the Daytona specification.
I’m not wild about letting it go as I probably won’t see another one this good.
Condition: Well, it’s good.
- NO fin damage
- NO cracks or welds
- NO repairs
- Good valve guides
- Good exhaust spigots (A little storage corrosion on the insides)
- Complete with carb mount studs
- Good spark plug threads. They don’t even look used! I would go as far as to suggest that this is New Old Stock.
If you are doing a back-to-factory full restoration, then this Triumph T100 500cc cylinder head is possibly the best available today.
I know it’s not cheap. Find another one this good.
