Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor in original condition.
I was recently asked if I have a Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor. I didn’t have one. However, a friend has this one available.
It’s unrestored but largely complete. The only main component that is missing is the float chamber cap. I understand that there are a few people occasionally re-producing these Binks carb chamber caps. Note that there appears to be a very old solder repair along the connection between the main body and the float chamber. I have no idea of the repair is sound. I have shown a close-up image of this.
Anyway, this Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor is shown on the site for the initial enquirer to consider. If he decides that he doesn’t want it, I will make it generally available and will list a selling price.
If you have a vintage or veteran motorcycle, you will know how difficult it is to find a complete Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor that someone is willing to part with.
Other Binks carburettors
I have a few. They are mostly for mid-late 1920’s AJS and Nortons. If I have any left, they will be listed in the section titled Binks.
