BMW R100RS 1969-84 Airhead Air Intake & engine cover with both Badges.
I have been holding onto a few old BMW airhead parts as I have wanted to rebuild a 1970’s R100RS. The parts are just sitting in a box and I doubt I will ever get a suitable project. So, they are for sale.
The main engine cover and airbox come with some original badges. The ali box will need a re-paint. The “endurolast” air intake cover is a bit dirty but still serviceable.
Part numbers are:
- Air intake cover 1153 592 869 69. I think it might also be suitable for other models including R50, R75, R80, R90 and R100.
- Min airbox / engine cover 1259 517 F1.1 . It also has a cast date of 1978.
- Badges.From research, I believe the part numbers are either 5114 13556 5512 or 1344 7366 3852. Anyway, they are what they are.
I don’t think I am asking a lot when you consider that just one brand new badge is £69.
