• BMW R90/6 R75/5 motorcycle engine barrel is cast with date of 1973 and the cast number is 0918-4-1182. There are various other stamps. Please see the images.
• BMW R90/6 R75/5 motorcycle  cylinder head is also showing a cast date from 1973. The number is R9 1 250 223 9 Si Gu

Overall, both the cylinder head and the barrel are in decent condition. They will need a good clean but they are clean enough for me to be able to check them over.

Cylinder head: The threads are fine. The fins are not broken. It has one valve installed.

Cylinder barrel: The fins are fine and the barrel itself is in decent condition.

I am advised that these parts were used for either the BMW R90/6 R75/5 motorcycles. So, please see the images for any number verification that you need. If you need anything else, please ask before you buy.

I have a few other 1970’s BMW parts as I harboured a fantasy for a mid-late 1970’s BMW R machine and just bought spares when I was offered them. I now have a later GS Adventure, so I’ve go that bug out of my system and these parts are available.
