SOLD – BSA A7 Project for sale

BSA A7 Project. 1959 / 1960

This is an A7 that came to me with some other motorcycles. It is sold as a project needing a complete rebuild. However, it’s got the makings of a great bike. The frame is in the original very dark green. The tool box, oil tank and petrol tank are still in original paint.

The gearbox is still fitted and has the engine plates attached. The engine is out of the frameand has the front plates attached. The engine doesn’t turn over by hand so assume that it is stuck from sitting around. It even has the mudguard, swing arm and shock absorbers together with petrol / oil tanks and tool box. A quick addition of the parts value takes you to about £2,000. Get yourself a really good project for £1500.

The frame and engine numbers are visible. There is no paperwork. It’s easy enough to get from the DVLA.

Here’s what you get:

  • Frame with numbers
  • Swing arm
  • Shock absorbers
  • Rear mudguard
  • Tool box with original lid
  • Oil tank
  • Gearbox
  • Some engine plates
  • Engine
  • Original front forks
  • Original Smiths Chronometric speedometer (2801 miles)
