SOLD – BSA Bantam Project Frame, V5 Registration Doc, Engine, Speedo etc

BSA Bantam project for sale

Comes with UK V5 Registration document , engine and some other parts including new handlebars, carb filter, chain, original Smiths speedometer.

Engine number is clear and frame number is there, but you will have to scrape the primer a bit. I have shown the frame number on the tag in the pictures.

Now the odd bit. The V5 is for a Bantam, but not this frame number! The Document states that it’s a 1962 motorcycle. The person filling the document in must have done it without their specs! They have written BD33, and then the number for the engine. It’s actually BD3B xxxxx. The log book states that this is a D7 frame. So, take your pick. You have a log book. You have a number on the engine and another one on the frame. The registration number is non-transferable and is 3 letters and 3  numbers.

I happen to have some other Bantam parts. If you come to collect this project, you’re welcome to have a root about and I’m sure we will come to an arrangement for any extra parts.
