Douglas 2-3/4hp 350cc flat tank vintage motorcycle original Flywheel Clutch.
Most of the clutch flywheel parts are there. See the images.
I am pretty sure that this Douglas Flywheel Clutch set was for the models TS and CW from 1924 – 1926.
I am only offering this for sale as it does not suit my earlier 1915 model. However, I happen to need a load of parts for my project. So, if you have anything spare from the list below, and you need this flywheel clutch, please let me know.
As you can see, the important smaller items like springs and the clutch release cam are included. I can’t be certain that everything is there. I’ve only got what is in the images.
The taper is 20mm and it has 1/4 ball bearings, so I think it’s for the CW / TS models, as opposed to the EW which had 25mm taper and roller bearings.
I think this may be the early type as it comes with the washer that has two tangs that fits under the flywheel nut. Apparently, it projects through the two slots and engages the pressure plate to prevent slipping.
Here is the list of items that I could do with for my 1915 project:
- Fork head clip and stem
- Gear Rod set
- Gear Lever
- Gear indicator plate
- Heated carb and manifold. Is the heated carb correct for 1915?
- Rear brake assy
- brake pedal
- Handlebar levers
- Magneto . Not fussed if it’s EIC, Bosch or Dixie. Just as long as it’s complete.
