Early 1920s Sturmey Archer 2 speed gearbox, poss off a Levis. Could be useful for other early motorcycles.
I have opened the cover up (see the pictures) and all gears move freely. It’s nice and oily in there. There’s a small bag of parts (pictured). The case is missing a few fixings and there is a small hole near the top that could do with a small repair (fill). Take a look at the pictures as I’ve tried to show things like the mangled drive sprocket.
Bottom line, It’s a nice little ’20s gearbox that needs a little work but it will get someone’s project one-step closer to the open road.
