Genuine Original BSA motorcycle Replacement Parts book 1938 Models.
It appears to be dated 1938 on the inside cover page. Price was 1 shilling and 6 pence.
You can get re-printed versions if you just want the parts info. However, if you want the genuine item, like I do, then here’s your chance. It’s a bit like having a re-print of the Mona Lisa. It does the same job but you know it’s not the genuine article.
9″ long and 5.5″ high.
The booklet is only being offered for sale as I have a duplicate in my collection. I have found it invaluable. It is used, and old, so it has marks and creases. However, the spine is holding up well and all of the pages are held in tight. There is some water damage on the rear cover but all of the pages separate fine.
There are 296 inner pages and the parts book covers all BSA models in 1938. I has a list of BSA stockists and loads of illustrated pages for the parts. It even has a price listed with parts at the end of the book, together with many pages on BSA sidecar chassis parts.
