Rudge gearbox with a clutch.
Late 1920’s early 1930’s vintage Rudge motorcycles with hand operated gear change.
Good condition.
Both covers and the main gear case have the same numbers stamped. You can see the numbers in the images.
I believe that it fits the early 250 Rudge motorcycles, but may not fit the later models. Please check with a Rudge specialist.
Condition of the Rudge gearbox with a clutch.
I have checked it over externally. There are no signs of damage or repairs. The splines look OK. The clutch wheel turns OK. Both sprockets are used but still have some life left.
I can’t vouch for the condition of the clutch plates. All parts appear to be there.
