Honda XL250 Sports Enduro Twin Shock vintage classic 1970’s motorbike project with V5.
Year 1974. I think that’s the silver tank one with a burgundy stripe.
I know, it’s not my usual thing. But I always had a hankering for a 1970’s Honda XL250 Enduro. This project seemed ideal. However, the usual thing has happened. I have just become the custodian of a project rather than getting on with building it. It’s time for someone else to actually rebuild it.
So, it’s up for sale as it is.
It only comes with what you see in the images (other than the V5 document, which I have and is in my name)
Everything is for restoration. The wheels / hubs alone are worth good money.
If you are looking for an engine, I have one in a different XL250 Enduro frame. I can let you have that frame, engine and installed rear wheel for an extra £200 if you buy this project. The other frame does not have a V5 and the engine will need to be rebuilt although it all seems to be there.
