SOLD – Interesting early Frame to house a V-Twin

I’m putting this up here so that a friend can see one of the more unusual frames that I have.

It might make a nice home for a nice J.A.P. V-Twin when coupled with a Sturmey Archer CS Gearbox as shown. The gearbox in the pictures has been sold, but I happen to have another one.

If you definitely know what the frame is for, I’d be very interested. There have been many theories from a variety of knowledgeable people. Indian, Norton, Harley, East European. With the saddle fixing, it suggests East European or Scandanavian. Anyway, it is a very solid old thing in decent condition.
