JAP V-Twin engine cases 1938(ish) 750cc MTWD/1
Probably for Avebury Barford 3 wheeled vehicle or the late 30’s Reliant 10cwt 3 wheel delivery van. I imagine someone might use it in a Morgan 3-wheeler. This is a wet sump motor (commonly referred to as a dipper).
These cases came to me as part of a job-lot. I bought them as I wanted the other parts. So, I have no use for them.
The sequential engine number is 80324/S
The cast number on the cases reads: 13441
The cast number on the inside of the timing cover reads: 13443
Have a look at the images showing inside the timing chest. Quite a lot of the components are there. Just the parts are worth what I’m asking.
The only thing of note is the very old repair to the bottom of the casing. The copper patch appears to have done the job. I’ve not attempted to remove it.
