Joseph Lucas TOURA #324 bicycle lamp would suit early veteran motorcycle.
This is a lovely polished brass vintage, or veteran, cycle lamp. It has the sprung mount that slides onto the headstock bayonet mount on the handlebars. You see the bayonet mounts on early veteran motorcycles as well as bicycles.
It retains the red and green side lenses, together with the knurled clamp bolt.
Rather that having a carbide lamp at the front, why not have an oil-fired cycle lamp?
Condition of the Joseph Lucas TOURA #324 bicycle lamp.
In a word, excellent. The fuel reservoir unclips exactly as it should. The chimney is nice and retains the name and model number inscription. The lens and reflector are good and the front opens and closes as it should. You even have a new wick.
Have I tested it? No.
The body of the Lucas TOURA #324 bicycle lamp is in good order. There are little marks and tiny dinks here and there. There are plenty of images for you to zoom-in and see the condition.
The rear mount has plenty of “spring” left in it too.
