Large Powell & Hanmer P&H carbide rear light for flat tank vintage veteran motorcycles.
This P&H carbide rear light would be great on a patina motorcycle. It is larger than other P& H rear lights that I have.

Total height is: 11cm or 4-1/4″ including the gas inlet for the jet.
It has a ruby-red prism lens to the rear. The number plate lens to the side is a nice, large, one. (it is 2″ long, or 5cm). It retains the P&H badge to the top.
Condition of the P&H carbide rear light
Please take a good look at the pictures as they say so much more than words when it comes to condition.
The clasp and hinge both work. The light is decent inside and there is a acetylene gas jet fitted. The 3-bolt mount is secure and the little opening, to light the gas, opens and closes as it should.
The P&H carbide rear light appears to have original nickel plate under where the original black paint would have been. Someone has carefully removed the black paint. There is a very small amount remaining. Clearly, it’s tarnished and the mount appears to have been repainted. It’s an original mount as it has the Pat number stamped on it. I get asked for lamps that would suit a “patina machine”. Here’s your chance.
These little lamps are hard to find now.
