About the model: Triumph T100s Unit Construction
The Unit construction Triumph T100s is a design that began in around 1959. It was developed through the 1960’s and was produced in various packages.

It is a 500cc parallel twin. Having owned a few of these, I can say with confidence that they are lively classic motorcycles. They are relatively light and nimble. Because they have twin cylinders, they are also easy to kick start.
The Triumph T100s is a single carburettor model. The T100c and T100R / T100T are twin carburettor models. The model ended in the early 1970’s.
Regarding this motorcycle:
The owner is selling this Triumph T100s as he is not riding any more. He has a small collection of immaculate bikes. Each one runs well and this motorcycle is no exception.
He has owned it for several years and was his “modern classic” as it was the easiest to kick start and ride.
This motorcycle has the much-desired twin leading shoe (tls) front brake. The single leading shoe has pretty poor performance, so this is an excellent front brake.
Condition of the Triumph T100s
Very good condition. It will need some detailing as it has sat in a garage for a while. But the quality of the paint is very good. It will also need to be re-commissioned. I would say “light recommissioning” as I know that the other three motorcycles have started up with just the smallest amount of work. (on two of them, they only needed the points gap adjusting in the magneto).
This Triumph T100s starts up with ease and idles smoothly.
This is an older restoration, so please don’t expect the bike to be perfect. I can say that it will polish-up very well.
It has a new seat, rebuilt wheels on new rims, a side stand and a centre stand.
If you are looking for a very nice, pretty, usable classic motorcycle, this Triumph T100s is an excellent choice and is great value.
