SOLD – Nickel Plated Brass AMAC 30 P.J.Y 7/8″ carburettor with float bowl

SOLD – Nickel Plated Brass AMAC 30 P.J.Y 7/8″ carburettor with float bowl

NOW SOLD

Original Brass AMAC 30 P.J.Y 7/8″ carburettor with float bowl with nice nickel plating.

If you have a Veteran or Vintage motorcycle, it’s always nice to have spares. This carburettor is a very good AMAC from the 1920’s.

7/8″ throttle valve AMAC carb’s don’t come up very often. They are usually grubby and need a service. This one is lovely.

It also has the very sought-after MUSHROOM “filter”

The internal diameter of the carb mounting is 1″

You may need to get another jet / needle. I only have the parts that you see in the pictures. I’ve never seen one this nice (except the other 30 PJY that I am selling). That one comes with cables and a original Amac dual control levers. If you can’t find it, it may be sold already. Please ask.

Carburettor: Brass Amac 30 P,J.Y. According to my Amal / Amac catalogue of parts, was available around 1926 / 27. It has a 7/8″ throttle valve. The carb number is clearly stamped on the case. I understand that these models were usually supplied with a top-feed to the chamber.

Float bowl: AMAC and with float / needle as in the images.
