Lucas front carbide lamp Model 331 for vintage & veteran motorcycles.
At about 4.5″ rim diameter, this one is a petite size. It would probably suit a nice little lightweight flat tank motorcycle. In general though, they are ideal for motorcycles up to around 1930. But they suit veteran motorbikes as well as vintage ones.

This is a side mounted lamp. It comes with both bolt mounts, together with the nuts.
Condition of the Lucas front carbide lamp Model 331
This is a lamp that still has some of its original nickel plate. But not much of the plate! It’s worn here and there, but shows lovely patina. Someone has been a bit keen with the cleaning and most of the plate is now worn down to the brass.
The front cover opens easily.The hinge and clasp work well. It retains the original curved front glass. There is a wick inside. However, it needs a washer to make it firm. The reflector has a crack across the full width but it is well attached to the back of the lamp. The peak is very slightly dented as shown. The rim has a few very tiny dents.
