Matchless Motorcycle G9 500cc twin engine for rebuild

I’ve priced this to clear it straight away.
This is an engine for rebuild. It does have a crank / pistons and conrod. However, the pistons are stuck. Overall it needs a really good clean and there is a bit of corrosion on the front right of the casings. One of the chambers in the heads is not too great and one of the lower engine mounts has bits broken off. Other than those things, it’s not too bad.
What you get is as you see in the images:
- A little box with screws, buts washers etc
- Crank cases
- Crank
- Connecting rods
- Pistons (if you can un-seize them)
- Barrels
- Cylinder heads with valves and springs
- Cylinder head caps x 4
- the timing gears as seen
- The timing cover
The engine number is clear and hasn’t been messed with. The number is 52/G9 2024.
