Norton ES2 cylinder barrel for sale.
Good fins. Most of these barrels have chipped fins. NO chipped fins.
This is one of a few ES2 / Model 18 parts that I have available. I currently have an ES2 frame for sale. It’s part of a project that have decided not to proceed with. Please take a look at my other Norton pats for sale, or let me know what you need. I haven’t got around to adding all of the parts yet.
In 1957, the Norton singles had some substantial improvements. One of these improvements was a re-designed aluminium cylinder head. In 1959, they improved the model further by introducing a featherbed frame and Road Holder forks.
The cast number on the barrel is 13816.
Condition of the Norton ES2 cylinder barrel
Overall this in good condition. The skirt doesn’t have any chips and the fins are all complete.
- The bore will definitely need a hone.
- Bore is approx 79mm
Note that the bore in this Norton ES2 cylinder barrel isn’t as good as the picture suggests. It will definitely need a hone.
Other Norton parts
I have quite a lot left over from various projects of my own. There are some D0minator 88 / 99 twin parts, some Model 50 and ES2 parts and a few prewar parts. Please take a look at the Norton spare parts for sale.
