Norton? Smiths Chronometric 120 mph speedometer S 467/203/N with trip.
I suggest Norton as that’s the only bike make that I can find in my Smiths catalogues that has S 467/203 (without the “N”)
The Norton models that had 467/203 were:
- Norton ES2 490cc 1956/8
- Norton International 500cc and 350cc 1956/8
- Norton Dominator 497cc 1956/8
- Norton Dominator 19S 596cc 1956/8
It’s a guess, but I must be close. If you know for sure, please let me know.
Condition: Well, it’s used and only tested with a drill. It’s being sold on the basis that it will need refurbishment. However, if I was going to use it, I’d try it on a bike first.
If it didn’t work properly, then I’d send it to a repairer. As you can see, it needs a good clean. The bezel is worn.
