Original Triumph Terrier T15 primary clutch cover, E3150 in good condition
These 150cc Triumph Terrier T15 primary covers are very difficult to find. I happen to have a couple of T15 engine cases and was keeping this in the hope of building a Terrier engine up over time.

I’ve decided to go another route with bikes. So, this Terrier cover and a few other parts will be coming up for sale, including the engine cases and a barrel.
There are many versions of the Triumph Tiger Cub T20 primary side covers. In most cases, there will be a cast number inside beginning with an “E”. This Triumph Terrier T15 primary clutch cover has the cast number E3150.
Oh, and I know it’s not cheap! They are VERY difficult to find. If you do find one, they are invariably damaged.
This is the early clutch case for the Terrier. The more common one is E3582 and looks different. E3582 id very similar to the early t20 Cub ones, numbered E3580.
According to the parts lists, E3150 was supplied right from the beginning, in late 1953, with engine number T15-101. It ran through the early years until the end of 1955 and engine number 17388. In 1956, the primary cover is listed as part number E3582, from engine number 17389.
Condition of the Triumph Terrier T15 primary clutch cover
Not bad at all. The case appears to still have the original red paint for the name. I say “appears” Clearly, it has red paint but you never know if someone has re-painted it. It looks original to me.
- All of the threads inside are fine.
- The fixing holes are good too.
- The facing is OK.
- There is a small wear mark inside. It’s not very deep.
- The outside has clearly had a little light corrosion at some point.
This Triumph Terrier T15 primary clutch cover will polish up very nicely.
