Powell & Hanmer Model 120 acetylene carbide motorcycle lamp with fixings and burner top.

Bought when I was into very early motorcycles. I’ve drifted up a decade or so and this won’t be needed. It has some lovely patina but the reflector is nice but it does have some marks around the edges. See the images. It comes with the fixings as you see them, together with the top of the burner. I have a few burner chambers somewhere. They aren’t included in this sale, but if I have any available, they will be put on this site.

The headlamp is complete with shroud, 11cm glass model. I’m told it’s  anything from about 1910 to 1924.

The convex lens is intact with no chips or cracks. The width of the front of the lamp including catches is 5 3/4″ (15cm) .The width between the two mounting bolts is about 10.5cm. The depth of the body of the lamp is 13cm not including the peak. The peak still has the P&H badge attached. The catch works well too.

If you find one of these, they are usually restored. This one is ideal for a good patina machine.

International shipping available.
