Pre-65 Trials T20 Triumph Tiger Cub – Set up for historic trials competitions
I’m lucky to have two of these nice little Trials Cubs, so it’s time to let one go.
It has sat with my other bikes for quite a while. It has been kicked over regularly though. Today, I decided to get it going. I drained the fuel, cleaned the carb (it didn’t really need it), put some fresh fuel in and it started second kick. It rides well and goes in all gears.
The rims are Akront alloys and the tyres are really nice Pirelli Professional.
The engine is all correct and turns over with good compression.
Frame number is 5 numbers, beginning with 805xx (1961 year)
Engine number is 5 numbers beginning with 685xx (1960 year)
No documents with the bike. However, it’s not difficult to get a new V5. If you join the TOMCC (Triumph Club), a very nice chap called Richard will help with the application for a very reasonable cost for his time.
The pictures mostly tell you what you need to know. It’s not immaculate. It has been used for trialing, so it has a few small marks. However, the trials parts list below will give you some idea of what has been invested.

Viewing: Please come and check it over before you buy. It is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.
Delivery: Is a possibility as it fits in my car, upright. If you prefer to use a courier for collection, I will need to be paid more than 24 hours before they collect.
Collection: I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
