Primary side engine case for 1926 Triumph Model P Motorcycle or Model Q.
Pre 1930 vintage Triumph motorcycle engine spare part.
If you have a 1926 (or Sept-Dec 1925) Triumph Model P or Q, this case half might be for you. It’s always a good idea to hold a stock of spares. Or, perhaps, your primary side isn’t too great. If the numbers on your current engine aren’t clear, then this case may help.
The engine number range for the 1926 Models P &Q ran between 225295 and 248755.
You can see the number in the images. This case is the 7,027th set of cases made for these models. (They certainly sold a lot of Model P’s!). You will also see three letters stamped to the right of the number. The letters “CS” represent the year (1926) and the letter “A” represents the month that they were made. Condition of Primary side engine case for 1926 Triumph Model P Motorcycle or Model Q
Used but without any major cracks and no welds. They are fairly clean so that you can inspect them in the images. There is a tiny bit of corrosion on the under-side. The facing joint looks nice.
