Looking for a project this Winter? How about a sought-after early 1970’s Triumph Twin cylinder 500cc T100R.
It comes with UK documents (V5c Registration docs) registered in 1973.
Most of the project is there. It doesn’t have a fuel tank, silencers or instruments but seems to have almost everything else. The numbers match on the frame and the engine casings.
This is a complete rebuild, so come with a van. It might fit in a car.
Here’s what’s included:
- Frame with clear number
- Rear frame loop, swing arm fitted and shock absorbers
- Rear grab rail
- Engine with number that matches the frame. The engine is already apart so you’ll need to check the pictures or come and see it for yourself. It includes a fitted Morgo oil pump and has the timing gears as you see in the images. One engine mount has been repaired (shown). It could be tidied up. The rocker covers have the rocker arms.
- Front forks. The yokes are fitted to the headstock already along with the instrument mounting.
- Front and rear wheels (The wheel rims are a bit pitted). They come complete with brake plates and the front wheel has the important large Twin Leading Shoe brake plate.
- Front and rear mudguards.
- Rear stop lamp and mount.
- The seat (It will need to be recovered)
- Exhaust headers
- Gear clusters with kick start pawl
- A nice oil tank fitted to the frame.
- Pair of Amal carburettors.
- Side stand
- Rear brake pedal
- Clutch and chain wheel.
- gear lever
- Kick start lever
- Various smaller parts – control switches, levers, anode, etc

Collection: If you don’t want it shipped, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.
