Rebuilt Triumph double barrel carburettor Standard size for Flat Tank Models SD H P.

I believe this carburettor was supplied for models between 1916 and the mid-1920’s. Triumph made their own carburettors, so these Triumph double barrel carburettors are easily identified.

Please note that this is not suitable for the “Baby Triumph”. That model had a smaller double barrel carburettor.

Triumph double barrel carburettors are not that easy to find. I was fortunate to have been offered two of them recently. Both of them needed a complete rebuild so they were sent off to a vintage motorcycle carb specialist for a full checkover and rebuild as necessary.

This carburettor has been promised to a friend in Belgium, who has a lovely 1919 Triumph Model H. It’s a spare as he uses his motorcycle quite a bit. If you would like a similar carburettor, please let me know. They are available for pre-order. When another one is available, I will let the next person on the list know.

Condition of the Triumph double barrel carburettor

The carburettor has been cleaned, re-bored and then new slides fitted. The float bowl has the correct Triumph screw top with the right tickler. The float is the one that was inside the carb when supplied. It has been soldered, but still floats. The float has a new needle fitted and the dual chambers have new springs.

While the carburettor has been cleaned and it’s very shiny inside, great care has been taken to preserve the original finish on the outside.

Other early Triumph parts.

Occasionally, I have some early Triumph parts. I used to have a Model SD and kept a stock of spares. They have slowly dwindled to very small item. However, I get offered parts regularly. So, please get in touch and let me know what you need.  I
