£290.00
Refurbished 1938 vintage Triumph 5H & T90 motorcycle Amal 289/116 carburettor.
This is one of the Amal horizontal carburettors.
This is actually a brass version of the old Mazak Amal 89/116. The number is 289/116R, so it’s a brass re-cast body, in better quality material than the original. It’s less prone to wear and looks better than the Mazak ones as you can choose bare brass, or nickel plated.
On checking my 1938 Triumph parts list, this carb is for the 500 cc models, 5H and T90. It’s designed to be a horizontal carburettor with a very specific design of float bowl.
This completely rebuilt Triumph 5H & T90 motorcycle Amal 289/116 carburettor is a rare find.
It is for sale as you see it. There is no float bowl.
Condition of the Triumph 5H & T90 motorcycle Amal 289/116 carburettor
It has been completely refurbished with all new parts except the holding bolt. The main body is an old brass body that has been cleaned and checked for any wear.
