Small Lightweight motorcycle Burman gearbox EL with some gears.
2 stud mount.
This gearbox has been taunting me for a while. There is a stamp inside the inner cover with “E2”. The main case has the sequential number (2006) and EL (It might be EE but I know there is a small Burman EL).
The inner case and the main box are in decent condition. The clutch adjustment fixing point is undamaged. There are no nuts to fix the cover but most studs are there.
Take a look at the only gear shaft included. The gears are in decent condition. The selector is also fitted inside the main case.
So, you have some decent cases with some gears and selector fork. But, please note that you are not gettng a complete lightweight vintage Burman gearbox.
I have no idea which models and makes this box was used with. I imagine ir was used on a variety of bikes. I even spotted a very similar (2 speed) one fitted to a mid-thirties Cotton / J.A.P motorcycle.
