Smiths Chronometric 120 M.P.H Triumph S.467/51 Speedometer for refurbishment, with long trip re-set.
Triumph Smiths speedometers are now hard to find. They have the RPM in different colours, depending on your gear.
The earlier ones have a more delicate style to the RPM indications. This model has a fairly robust approach to indicating the revs. I’m familiar with the early ones but can only find one example of these online. It’s a 180 KPH one, so the number is S,467/55.
So, here’s an educated guess. If it’s more brightly coloured and less available, it was probably for a 650cc bike from 1952-55. I’d love to know. So, if you know for sure, please get in touch.
Condition. It has been tested with a drill. It moves. That’s all I will commit to. If was going to use it, I’d probably run it on my bike first. If it didn’t work properly, then I’d send it to a repairer. As you can see, it needs a good clean. The bezel is worn.

Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well.
Import Taxes: Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties. The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
