Triumph 8″ Pre-unit & Unit construction single leading shoe front brake plate

- Part number is: 37-1301
Described as an 8″ SLS ali front brake plate. The overall diameter is 9″. The diameter between the “outer” surfaces of the brake shoes is closer to 8″.
The cast (W1330) number does not feature in the parts lists. The part W1301 / 37-1301 is this part. It was supplied on some of the pre-unit Triumph models from 1958. (1957 featured a brake that looks the same but the part number is W952). This brake plate was also fitted on unit construction Triumphs such as the T100 and is in the parts lists up to 1966. It may be later, but I didn’t look any further.
This is on the site for one person. If “P” doesn’t want it, it will be up for sale.
Overall, it is in good condition. The hole centres are still round. The outer surface has some light scratches that will polish out.
