Triumph pre-unit 500cc Twin cylinder head E2258 with internal oil channels.
Models: Speed Twin, 5T, T100. – 1946-49
This is a very decent cast iron cylinder had for the early twin cylinder 500cc models. If you take a look inside the valve spring hosings, you will see some oil holes. Look on the other side of the head and you will see 4 small holes. This system was replaced with external oil feed lines direct into the rocker caps.
There is one small chip to a fin on the left side between the spark plug and the exhaust outlet. Other than that, the head is good. The spark plug threads are fine. I tested with a plug and they tighten up nicely. The head will need a clean though.
