I believe this part was used around 1954 to 1957.
This is an original ali front brake plate for the 1950s Triumph Thunderbird, 6T, T100 models. It could of course be used on later bikes as a mod. I have had this for a few years and have kept it with a specific project in mind. I’ve decided to not go ahead with the project, so some lucky person is now going to have the chance to hoard this as custodian for the next 5 years.
It’s an original Triumph part. It has not been modified. It could do with a good polish and the air vent guard fitting. The front gauze number is W1059 and is readily available.
I have added an image of my old 1955 Thunderbird which had the same brake plate fitted.
These are extremely difficult to find now.
