Triumph pre unit gearbox with TACHO DRIVE for swinging arm models
500cc or 650cc
T120 Bonneville, T100, T110, Thunderbird 6T, TR6 Trophy, 5T Speed Twin.
This is a late pre-unit Swing Arm gearbox for Triumphs. It has the tachometer / rev counter drive fitted.
It is being sold as a gearbox requiring a rebuild as I have not used it.
Condition of the Triumph pre unit gearbox
The shaft thread looks OK and the woodruff key slot is good.
The cases are in decent (used) condition. There is no gear indicator and you will need some more outer case fastenings. The frame mounts are good and there are no signs of weld repairs.
The clutch adjustment guide is intact. They are usually broken. This one is good and has no repairs.
It turns freely by hand.
The sequential number is shown in the images.
There is no cap / cover on the outer cover. There is no sump plug.
