SOLD – Triumph T100 SR frame project 1965

SOLD

This Triumph T100SR project is being sold for complete rebuild. It’s a 1965 frame and the numbers are clear and unmolested. It’s a good start for a project and would equally make a great fully restored bike, or a flat tracker.

The Triumph T100 SR. SR = Sports Road, as opposed to the other T100 in the range at the time which was the SC, Sports Competition.

The parts are in good, used, condition. I had considered keeping this and making a “survivor”, but I have a few others I need to finish first.

Documents: It comes with the official HMRC letter that recognises that import duties have been paid (NOVA), together with a dating letter from the TOMCC Registrar. With both of these documents (and an engine), you can apply for UK V5c registration document.

What’s included?

Frame with clear frame number, T100 SR H 38548.
Swing arm.
Rear shocks.
Rear sub frame loop.
Rear number plate hanger loop.
Rear number plate (genuine original steel).
Petrol tank.
Petrol tank badges.

If you have to ask what’s missing, then this may not be the project for you.

These 500 twin T100’s are arguably the prettiest bikes of their time. I’ve had a few and I can confirm that they are light and nimble. They are fairly simple to build too. Parts are generally available and many parts can now be bought new. Find yourself a 490cc Unit construction engine and you’re sorted.

Offers: Sorry. Not interested.

Viewing the project: I suggest that you ought to come and have a good look through the project so that you know what you are buying. It’s not an invitation to negotiate the price though. I’m firm on that. It is near St Ives in Cambridgeshire (PE28)

Payment: Ideally by bank transfer. You can pay in cash if you prefer.

Collection: I will make myself available. I’d like it to be collected soon after the deal is agreed.

Storage: If, for some reason, you need it stored for a couple of months. I can do that.
