Triumph T20 Tiger Cub plunger frame for sale with rear mudguard, centre stand, side stand and engine cases.
These frames are very hard to find now. I have had it for years and it was always destined for a rebuild. This one has a clear (an unmolested) frame number. I have added a set of engine cases with a stamp number within 200 of the frame. They are both from 1956.
Everything will need work and rebuilding, including the rear plunger suspension. However, it comes with some VERY sought-after parts. The centre stand, side stand and rear mudguard are separately very expensive. I get repeated requests for centre stands. This one has been with the frame all of the time that I have owned it and I would think it has always been with it.
The side stand is a nice extra to have. The rear mudguard is a little “holy” but it’s a good start for someone with the relevant repair skills. It even comes with the rear number plate hanger.
It does NOT have paperwork. You can easily get it registered for the road through the TOMCC (Triumph Owner’s Motorcycle Club). If you are unfamiliar with getting the frame registered, it’s a fairly simple process. The best thing to do is to join the Triumph motorcycle owners club and speak to a nice chap called Richard. He’s currently the Registrar. For a small fee, he will get your bike registered.
I have included a set to T20 engine cases. The number is in the images.
If you need other T20 Tiger Cub parts for this project, I will be happy to help and will check my current stores for appropriate parts. The best thing to do is come and view the frame project and then you can look through other parts that you might want. I even have some wheels and a set of lightweight forks, an appropriate sports petrol tank, and probably the correct handlebars among the other T20 Tiger Cub parts.
I can’t remember the last time that I saw a Triumph T20 Tiger Cub plunger frame for sale. Grab this opportunity if that’s your thing.
