SOLD – Nicely set up Trials Triumph Tiger Cub T20 with Square head and barrel motor

NOW SOLD

I’m offering up my other nicely set up Trials Tiger Cub T20 with Square head and barrel motor.

A well set up trials cub costs a small fortune in parts. In fact, about the only original Tiger Cub parts on this bike are the upgraded engine, the main frame loop and the front & rear wheel hubs. Pretty well everything else is bespoke Trials equipment.

The engine is all correct and turns over with good compression. The number on the engine is 93465, dating it to 1963. From what I can see, the frame doesn’t have a number. However, it will be supplied with an additional T20 main frame loop with pre-1965 numbers. You can either fit the parts on the numbered frame, or do the obvious…..

It rides well and starts easily. Before you ask, I have no idea where the very tidy silencer came from. It’s the nicest one I’ve ever seen.

Despite it looking amazing in the pictures, it does have a few marks. It does actually get used. I think the only things that could do with being renewed are the tyres. They’re getting a bit old and the walls are showing their age.

There are no documents with the bike. However, it’s not difficult to get a new V5. If you join the TOMCC (Triumph Club), a very nice chap called Richard will help with the application for a very reasonable cost for his time.

The trials parts list below will give you some idea of what has been invested. The frame has also been strengthened.
