Twin Cylinder Norton magneto automatic advance retard unit for Lucas K2F mags.
This is a clean, used, auto adv / retard assembly for Norton Atlas, Commando, Dominator 99 & 88 motorcycles.
The sprocket has 18 teeth.
It came to me with some other nice Norton parts. I don’t need this, so it’s available at considerably less than they are new. I think the least expensive one is around £270 new.
Fitting note: Screw the centre bolt on to the shaft at the same time as you gently fit the unit on the taper. If you fit the unit first, then attempt to tighten the bolt, it will lock up.
Condition of the Norton magneto automatic advance retard assy
This is a used Norton magneto automatic advance retard piece that would be used in conjunction with the Lucas K2F magneto.
While it is a used unit, it’s in good condition and returns to position fine. It comes with the bolt and the washer, as shown.
The sprocket teeth look OK to me. Please see the images.
