Bore is around 68.7mm. The used piston shows +40 on the top. The piston came with the barrel and seems to fit well.
Before the ali versions, they had iron barrels. The Velocette MAC ali Cylinder Barrel can be used as an upgrade if desired.
Condition of the Velocette MAC ali Cylinder Barrel.
It comes with a used piston. It also has the gudgeon pin. As mentioned, the piston is stamped with Plus 40 and it has rings. You might be lucky and be able to use the rings again. I am not certain that they will free-up enough.
The barrel bore is decent. It will need a light hone. There are some score marks on the walls, but they are light. The skirt is good and the top mating surface is clean. The fins are very good.
