Velocette MOV 250cc vintage motorcycle engine flywheel crank with connecting rod.
This crank came to me with a nice set of 250cc Velocette MOV engine cases. So, I am going to assume that the crank is for the MOV, rather than the 350cc MAC. It has been suggested that the MAC and MOV aren’t too different when it comes to the lower part of the engine. However, you will need to decide if this crank is right for your needs.
If you look closely at the images, there are two cast numbers: 23 & 25, on one side of the flywheel.

Good.
The threads and splines are good. They are nice and clean. The little end bush appears to be new. I can’t vouch for the big end.

At the moment, I have a few parts that might be useful as spares, or to help build these cases up. The parts include:
- A nice crank /flywheel with a connecting rod
- A BTH single cylinder magneto
- A nice timing cover. It would have been on the Venom or Viper. I think an MOV this old would have had a different shape.
- Some pushrods and a pushrod tube
- Some Venom timing gears
- Oil pump
- Set of 1932-35 engine cases for a MOV
